Hukuman Kejam bagi Perempuan Pezina di Batavia

Kasus perzinaan bukanlah hal baru di Batavia pada masa kolonial Belanda. Namun, perbuatan tersebut dianggap sebagai kejahatan berat yang melanggar moral, ketertiban, dan norma agama. Para pelakunya tidak dibiarkan bebas, melainkan dijatuhi hukuman yang sangat kejam dan mengerikan.


Pemerintah kolonial Belanda berupaya keras menciptakan citra Batavia sebagai kota yang tertib dan bermoral. Mereka ingin menghapus praktik gelandangan, kecabulan, dan perilaku yang dianggap menyimpang. Karena itu, siapa pun yang terbukti melakukan perzinaan—terutama perempuan—akan menerima hukuman berat sebagai contoh bagi warga lainnya.

Tragedi Sara, Gadis di Bawah Umur

Salah satu kisah paling tragis adalah nasib seorang gadis bernama Sara. Kisah ini dicatat oleh Zaenuddin HM dalam buku Kisah-Kisah Edan Seputar Djakarta Tempo Doeloe.


Sara adalah putri Jaques Speax, anggota Dewan Hindia Belanda. Ia merupakan anak hasil hubungan Speax dengan seorang perempuan Jepang. Ketika Speax dipanggil kembali ke Belanda, Sara dititipkan kepada Gubernur Jenderal Jan Pieterszoon Coen, yang saat itu memimpin Batavia.

Sara, yang baru berusia 13 tahun, dipekerjakan sebagai salah satu dayang istri Coen, Eva. Namun, ia kemudian tertangkap basah sedang berzina dengan kekasihnya, Cottenhoeff, seorang perwira muda berusia 17 tahun, di rumah Coen sendiri.


Akibat peristiwa itu, Cottenhoeff dijatuhi hukuman pancung. Sementara Sara—yang masih di bawah umur—mengalami hukuman yang tak kalah kejam. Ia ditelanjangi dan dipertontonkan di depan umum di pintu masuk Balai Kota Batavia.


Coen murka atas perbuatan tersebut. Ia menolak memberikan pengampunan meskipun para pendeta memintanya untuk bersikap lebih lunak. Sara akhirnya diadili dan dijatuhi hukuman mati dengan cara digantung.


Ironisnya, ketika Jaques Speax kelak menggantikan posisi Coen sebagai penguasa, ia menolak menghadiri kebaktian gereja bersama para hakim yang pernah mengadili dan mengeksekusi putrinya sendiri.

Error yang muncul di gambar itu:

Artinya:
Program Adobe After Effects (AfterFX.exe) gagal dijalankan karena ada masalah pada sistem atau dependensi yang dibutuhkan.

Kode error 0xc0000142 biasanya disebabkan oleh:

  1. File sistem/Runtime yang rusak atau hilang (misalnya Visual C++ Redistributable).

  2. Driver VGA/graphics card yang tidak kompatibel atau bermasalah.

  3. After Effects atau plugin corrupt.

  4. Masalah izin (permission) atau program tidak dijalankan sebagai administrator.

  5. Windows update yang belum terpasang atau ada konflik dengan update terbaru.


🔧 Solusi yang bisa dicoba:

  1. Restart PC terlebih dahulu (kadang error sementara).

  2. Jalankan After Effects sebagai Administrator (klik kanan → Run as administrator).

  3. Update / Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable (terutama 2013, 2015-2022).

  4. Update driver GPU (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel).

  5. Repair / Reinstall After Effects lewat Adobe Creative Cloud.

  6. Update Windows agar kompatibel dengan software terbaru.

  7. Jika masih gagal → jalankan sfc /scannow di Command Prompt (Admin) untuk memperbaiki file sistem.


🔹 LANGKAH 1 — Restart & Run as Administrator (WAJIB COBA)

  1. Restart PC / laptop

  2. Setelah masuk Windows:

    • Klik kanan After Effects

    • Pilih Run as administrator

👉 Kalau masih error, lanjut.


🔹 LANGKAH 2 — Pastikan Windows Update

  1. Tekan Windows + I

  2. Masuk Windows Update

  3. Klik Check for updates

  4. Install semua update → Restart

👉 Error 0xc0000142 sering muncul karena Windows belum update.


🔹 LANGKAH 3 — Install ulang Visual C++ Redistributable (PENTING)

Ini penyebab paling umum.

  1. Buka Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features

  2. Uninstall SEMUA yang namanya:

    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2013

    • Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022

  3. Restart PC

  4. Download ulang dari Microsoft (resmi):

    • Visual C++ 2013

    • Visual C++ 2015–2022

  5. Install x64 DAN x86

  6. Restart lagi

👉 Jangan skip restart.


🔹 LANGKAH 4 — Update Driver VGA (WAJIB UNTUK AE)

Cek VGA kamu:

  • Tekan Windows + X → Device Manager

  • Lihat di Display adapters

Jika:

  • NVIDIA → update via GeForce Experience

  • AMD → update via AMD Adrenalin

  • Intel → update via Intel Driver Assistant

Setelah update → Restart


🔹 LANGKAH 5 — Reset Preferences After Effects

Kadang config AE rusak.

  1. Tutup After Effects

  2. Tahan tombol:
    CTRL + ALT + SHIFT

  3. Sambil menahan → double klik After Effects

  4. Klik Yes saat ditanya reset preferences


🔹 LANGKAH 6 — Repair / Reinstall After Effects

  1. Buka Adobe Creative Cloud

  2. Klik After Effects

  3. Pilih:

    • Repair (kalau ada)

    • atau Uninstall → Install ulang

  4. Pastikan install di drive yang cukup ruang (C:)


🔹 LANGKAH 7 — Scan File Sistem (LANGKAH TEKNIS)

  1. Klik Start → ketik cmd

  2. Klik kanan Command Prompt → Run as administrator

  3. Ketik:

    sfc /scannow
  4. Tunggu sampai selesai (5–15 menit)

  5. Restart


🔹 LANGKAH 8 — Nonaktifkan Plugin Pihak Ketiga (Jika Pakai)

Kalau error muncul setelah install plugin:

  1. Masuk folder:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects\Support Files\Plug-ins
  2. Rename folder jadi:

    Plug-ins_backup
  3. Coba jalankan AE

Aliens, or extraterrestrial beings, are creatures that may live outside planet Earth. Even though no alien has been proven to exist, many scientists believe that life in outer space is possible because the universe is extremely large.

One interesting fact is that aliens may not look like humans at all. They could be very small, like microorganisms, or have completely different shapes and forms. Some scientists believe aliens could live in extreme environments, such as planets with very hot temperatures or frozen surfaces.

Another unique idea is that aliens might live on exoplanets, which are planets outside our solar system. Some of these planets are located in the habitable zone, where conditions allow water to exist. Water is important because it supports life.

Aliens might also communicate in ways humans cannot understand. Instead of using sound or language, they could use radio waves, light signals, or other unknown methods. Scientists use large radio telescopes to search for signals from outer space, hoping to find signs of intelligent life.


A Unique Story from the Majapahit Kingdom

 



Long ago, on the island of Java, there stood a great kingdom called Majapahit. It was one of the most powerful and unique kingdoms in Southeast Asia. Majapahit was not only known for its strong army, but also for its wisdom, culture, and unity.

One of the most unique figures in Majapahit was Gajah Mada, the prime minister of the kingdom. He made a famous promise called the Sumpah Palapa. He swore that he would not enjoy personal happiness until all the islands of Nusantara were united under Majapahit. This promise showed his strong dedication to unity and loyalty to the kingdom.

Majapahit was also special because of its tolerance toward different religions. Although Hinduism and Buddhism were the main religions, people were free to follow other beliefs. This harmony made the kingdom peaceful and strong. A famous phrase, “Bhinneka Tunggal Ika”, meaning Unity in Diversity, came from this era.

In Java, Majapahit built many unique temples and structures, such as Candi Tikus and Bajang Ratu Gate. These buildings showed advanced architecture and deep spiritual meaning. The kingdom also had an organized government system and clear laws, which helped maintain order.

On a windswept outcrop of Scottish bedrock, shaped by glacial movement and centuries of rain, one of the most meaningful archaeological traces is neither a carving nor a monument, but a simple groove. This elongated hollow, often located near water sources, is known as a polissoir—a prehistoric stone used for sharpening tools.

Unlike ceremonial monuments, the origin of the grinding groove is rooted in daily necessity. From the Neolithic period through the Bronze Age, people repeatedly returned to the same stone. Kneeling beside it, they poured water and sand into the shallow depression and, with steady and rhythmic motion, ground the cutting edges of stone axes against the resistant rock. Deep within the vast, blue canvas of the Pacific Ocean, an individual life history spanning decades was recently brought into sharp focus by a set of remarkable photographs.


The story begins in 1985 off the coast of Nayarit, Mexico, where a humpback whale was initially photographed by the Research Group of Marine Mammals. Researchers identified the whale as CRC-10724, utilizing the unique patterns of scars, pigmentation, and the shape of its tail fluke, which serves as an individual "fingerprint" for these magnificent creatures. Astonishingly, thirty-five years later, in 2020, the same whale was photographed again off the coast of Los Cabos, Mexico. The comparison of the two images, separated by over three decades, confirmed the whale’s identity, allowing scientists to track its longevity and migration patterns. This incredible resighting is one of many within a large collection managed by groups like the Cascadia Research Collective, demonstrating the long life span of humpback whales and the effectiveness of non-invasive photo-identification as a core research technique. It serves as a powerful testament to the resilience of these animals and the crucial work being done to monitor their population recovery.

Miyamoto Musashi dikenal sebagai samurai terhebat dalam sejarah Jepang. Ia bukan hanya ahli strategi, tetapi juga penulis The Book of Five Rings, karya klasik tentang filosofi bertarung dan seni membaca momentum dalam konflik.


Musashi lahir sekitar tahun 1584 di Desa Miyamoto. Jejak masa kecilnya kabur dalam catatan sejarah, namun sumber-sumber menyebutkan ia berasal dari keluarga samurai. Ayahnya, Shinmen Munisai, dikenal sebagai ahli bela diri.
Dari dialah Musashi muda belajar dasar penggunaan pedang, meski keduanya tak memiliki hubungan yang dekat. Ketika Musashi masih kanak-kanak, ibunya wafat, dan ayahnya meninggalkan rumah.
